With speculation that he’s appearing in She-HulkCharlie Cox’s Matt Murdock gets Daredevil‘s original costume from the comics in new fan art. Before Marvel Studios began creating their own shows on Disney+, there was the Marvel TV division, which ran series on ABC, Hulu, Netflix, and Freeform. When Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige got upped to CCO of Marvel Entertainment, Marvel TV was absorbed into his responsibilities. However, that meant the end of Marvel TV, resulting in multiple shows getting canceled or coming to a natural ending point.

Through Netflix, Marvel TV had launched The Defenders franchise, focusing on several iconic street heroes of the Marvel Universe. One of them was Daredevil, which ran for three seasons with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. Following the show’s cancellation in 2018, it would take more than three years until Cox returned to the MCU, and this time in the movies. After multiple rumors, Cox reprised Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, serving as Peter Parker’s attorney in a brief but memorable cameo. With Cox back in the MCU, the actor has already revealed that he knows where his character will show up next.

With She-Hulk Being the next original Disney+ show from Marvel Studios, rumors have it that Cox’s Daredevil will supposedly show up in the series. While neither confirmed nor denied by Marvel Studios, it has gotten fans excited to see the hopefully suiting up again as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Now, one fan artist, Bobby_Art, does a poster featuring Cox as Daredevil, but with a new suit that adapts Matt’s original costume from the comics. throughout Daredevil seasons 1-3, the Netflix drama adapted Matt’s first black costume before he upgraded to the red iteration. When Daredevil debuted in Marvel Comics back in April 1964, Matt donned a red-and-yellow costume, which is one of the last popular versions the MCU has yet to adapt. If rumors are true that Cox is in She-Hulktime will tell if his character will coincide with an attorney-related storyline involving Jennifer Walters, or if he’s actually appearing as Daredevil.

In general, the MCU has always been relatively good at adapting as many costumes of various heroes as possible. It wouldn’t be shocking if Cox’s Daredevil ends up with the red-and-yellow suit down the line. If not in She-Hulkit’s always possible he gets a new costume in Disney+’s in-development Daredevil series, which will serve as a continuation of the Netflix show. Whether Matt would get the red-and-yellow re-design through Melvin Potter or a new player would be up to whoever is in charge of the story. With the Disney+ Daredevil sequel show Being in early development, it remains to be seen when Matt Murdock will don any suit besides the one he wears to court.
