The 23-year-old screenwriter daughter of former President Barack Obama kept things casual in a vintage tee paired with black pants and Birkenstock’s.

Obama, who is a writer on Donald Glover’s upcoming Amazon project, Hive, was photographed leaving the upscale Crossroads Kitchen in West Hollywood which serves small plates of vegan dishes in an elegant atmosphere.

Her long hair was worn loose around her shoulders with her sunglasses perched on top of her head.

In March, Donald Glover confirmed that he had given Obama her first post-college job as a writer on his new Amazon series, gushing that she is ‘amazingly talented’ and ‘really focused.’

The multihyphenate, who is also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, was at the season three premiere of ‘Atlanta’ when he opened up about he recruited the Harvard University graduate to work in the writers’ room on his latest project.

‘She’s just like, an amazingly talented person,’ Glover, 38, told Vanity Fair of Obama. ‘She’s really focused, and she’s working really hard.’

The actor is writing and executive producing the upcoming Amazon series — reportedly titled ‘Hive’ — that is about ‘a Beyoncé-type character.’

Glover did not reveal how Obama — who interned on Lena Dunham’s HBO series ‘Girls’ in 2015 and at The Weinstein Company in 2017 — landed the job after she graduated from college last year.

His younger brother Stephen Glover is also working on the upcoming Amazon project, and he said they were interested in ‘hearing her stories and having her work with them,’ which suggests they may have approached her about the position.

Glover believes Obama has a promising future in the industry, telling the publication, ‘I feel like she’s just somebody who’s gonna have really good things coming soon.’

‘Her writing style is great,’ he added.

Obama, who relocated to Los Angeles for her first Hollywood gig, also earned praise from Stephan.

The ‘Atlanta’ co-writer and executive producer commended her work ethic and ideas, saying they are happy to have her on the team because of her perspective.

‘Donald always says perspective is important, and people with different perspectives are important for a writers’ room. And for sure, she definitely has a unique perspective on everything,’ he told Vanity Fair.

‘So we wanted to hear her stories and have her work with us. Listening to her stories and having her involved really gave us a lot of good ideas.’

When asked how he goes about rejecting Obama’s pitches, he made it clear that she isn’t getting any kind of special treatment in the writers’ room because of who her parents are.

‘Well, you know, we just hurt her feelings. We can’t be easy on her just because she’s the [former] president’s daughter,’ Stephan joked.

‘Nah, she’s very down to earth, and cool. So, it’s not a problem at all,’ he added. ‘She has a lot of good ideas. She’s great. She’s just a regular person like everybody else.’

Glover didn’t address whether Obama is joined by bodyguards when she is at work, but he did describe her days in the writers’ room as being like a therapy session.

‘We just talk about how we are feeling and what’s going on in our own lives, and so our work and all the shows we do become very personal in that way,’ he said.

‘And at the same time, it’s very fun. We are talking about everything and being honest about things, and getting all kinds of ideas out.’

Obama’s younger sister, Sasha, 20, has also relocated to Los Angeles and is a student at the University of Southern California after transferring from the University of Michigan.

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed in April that Sasha is in a relationship with Clifton Powell Jr., 24, the son of ‘Ray’ actor Clifton Powell.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, 58, was born and raised on Chicago’s South Side, while President Obama, 60, has lived and worked in the city, where the family still owns a home, off and on since the late 1980s.

Powell and Sasha are understood to have met after she relocated to the West Coast, having left the University of Michigan in order to transfer to USC.

The Obama girls mostly shed from the spotlight, particularly since their father’s presidency came to an end 2017.

Months after her family left the White House, Malia – who had taken a year off from school – enrolled at Harvard University. She graduated in the spring of 2021.

She’d long shown an interest in filmmaking and interned on the set of Extant in high school and with The Weinstein Company in 2017 before landing her current role with Glover.
