The popular streamer Amouranth recently revealed what in her opinion represents the biggest reason for her success. The consent creator specifically mentioned that “haters” were in fact largely responsible for her meteoric rise to stardom.
Amouranth is currently one of the most watched female streamers on any platform. She has been at the forefront of numerous trends in her medium, becoming a highly controversial figure in the process. The content creator has been under nearly constant fire from both fans and “haters” ever since she started streaming several years ago. Aouranth has been banned or suffered suspensions on more than one occasion during her time on Twitch.
The streamer took to Twitter a couple of days ago to attribute most of her success to the “haters” who tried to drag her down. Aouranth described how “a huge part of my success is literally the haters telling me it’s all gonna come crashing down when I get older,” adding that “it’s driven me to work harder than I could have previously mustered, lead to the hiring of staff who essentially help keep me pushing and maintaining my forward trajectory.”
Amoranth said that hiring good staff members helped keep her from suffering burnout. “People underestimate how much teammates help alleviate burnout,” the streamer noted. “Plus, I have salaries to pay and mouths to feed. You don’t disappear for months because people are literally relying on you to pay your bills. They are amazing.”
The content creator previously said during an exclusive interview that “I work harder, full stop.” She went on to say that “I delegate and have a team that I’ve painstakingly trained and educated. They educate new hires in the culture I set. We all work long and hard and I make sure incentives are aligned. At the top end, some of my employees earn six-figure incomes. In Texas, this is very meaningful. I have uncapped upside profit shares to help align goals.”
Amoranth is currently planning to leave OnlyFans, a platform which has reportedly made her more than $1 million a month. The streamer mentioned that her various investments in real estate and small businesses including gas stations and a pool toy company have now surpassed her income from streaming. “All the trolls telling me I’d be broke one day lead to me saving pretty much everything I make and pouring it into investments or reinvesting into content,” she remarked on Twitter. “I’m not even a dividend investor, but currently my stock portfolio yields $409,000 in dividends annually after tax.”
While many female streamers are criticized for displaying their sexuality, Amouranth managed to make this work for her by switching from Twitch to OnlyFans. The content creator opened up during the exclusive interview about what attracted her to the platform. “I see it as the route with the least friction for monetization,” she pointed out shortly after making the switch. “The stigma issue with it being OnlyFans wasn’t really too big a factor. As a streamer, even before OnlyFans, I was subject to a lot worse.” Amouranth is planning on returning to Twitch in some capacity while pursuing her career as an investor in real estate and small businesses.
